Our affiliation with this esteemed organization reflects our dedication to upholding the principles and traditions of Kyokushin Karate, as established by Sosai Masutatsu Oyama.

As a proud member dojo, we represent the values of strength, discipline, and respect, working closely with the international community to grow and promote the art of Kyokushin Karate under the leadership of Kancho Naoyuki Sonoda.

About the IKOK Sonoda Organization and its Mission

The International Karate Organization Kyokushinkaikan (IKOK) Sonoda Group stands as a beacon of excellence in the Kyokushin Karate world. Led by Kaicho Naoyuki Sonoda, the organization has grown into one of the most rapidly expanding Kyokushin communities, with branches across 90 countries since its establishment.

Kaicho Sonoda, born in 1965, began his Kyokushin journey at the age of 13 and competed actively for a decade. His remarkable career includes significant milestones, such as winning the All-Kansai Open Kumite Championship in 1989 and clinching victory in the All-Japan Kumite Middle-Weight Championship in 1991. His skill and dedication also earned him the honor of representing Japan at the 5th World Open Tournament Kumite Championship, where he advanced to the final stages.

With over 40 years of experience, Kaicho Sonoda has not only showcased his expertise as a competitor but also as a visionary leader. Today, the IKOK Sonoda Group continues to unite practitioners worldwide, fostering discipline, respect, and a shared passion for Kyokushin Karate.
